ANCHORS & MICRO PILES

A pre-stressed grouted ground anchor is a structural element installed in soil or rock that is used to transmit an applied tensile load into the ground. Grouted ground anchors, referenced simply as “Ground anchors or Tiebacks”, are installed in grout filled drill holes.

Vidson Construction specializes in Inclined Pre-stressed Ground Anchors as part of soil retention system, as well as Vertical passive anchors for resisting uplift forces on building.

Soil nailing is a construction remedial measure to treat unstable natural soil slopes or as a construction technique that allows the safe over-steepening of new or existing soil slopes. The technique involves the insertion of relatively slender reinforcing elements into the slope – often general purpose reinforcing bars (rebar).
